The Law Of Averages alone would dictate that--since far more Kerry/Edwards lawn signs exist across the continental span, than do Bush/Cheney lawn signs--more dogs would be seen peeing on the former signs, than on the latter. This in no way reflects upon the candidate.

Well, I just voted. My absentee ballot never arrived in the mail--though my voting pamphlet did--so I had no other option than to vote with a provisional ballot. I'd sure like to know how many Dems registered absentee failed to receive their ballot!

Now, from 11:30am to 8pm, I'm to do some poll watching, and track down those addresses in my precinct, where I'll nudge the few stragglers to get out and vote before it's too late. Can't wait till this day is over...and can party at the Democrat gathering on Mission & 3rd (big, fancy hotel). And then, a good sleep, then back to Every Vote Counts headquarters by next-day noon, to begin the 3-day process of dismantling everything.

My wonderful experience with the good folks at EVC were incredible. I've never seen such a unified group of loyal, compassionate, and liberal folks in a long, long time. Hana, Owen, Marisol, Lucy, Danielle, Lisa, Tracy, Nancy, Christie, Tom, Stephani, Liz, Beverly, Irving, and Michael. Thank you, each and every one...and if I left your name out, it's either because you were attempting to muddy up our good works and don't deserve my accolades, or I simply spaced out (for which I profusely apologize).

And now, it must all be erased.

Like a sand painting.

100% pure good karma

(Bear Medicine: always the best!)
