The presence of calm, happy, friendly cats is an atmospheric "barometer" as reliable as a piece of precision German engineering. Where cats are calm and happy, there are no approaching hoofbeats, no menace. posted by: zekeblog (reply) post date: 06.22.09 (10:01 pm) Thanks much, El, for such an astute and thoughtful comment about cats! posted by: soulsought (reply) post date: 06.23.09 (10:31 am) Yes, they reflect the environmental trust in the immediate atmosphere. There were three Rockridge cats along College Avenue's side streets, two orange tabbies, one of them longhaired, and a black and white shorthair who used to jump up on a gate post to rub noses as I walked by. posted by: zekeblog (reply) post date: 06.23.09 (12:48 pm) I would like to build an entire album of cats in Berkeley. Look forward to it! |
